Esta en la esquina de las avenidas Costanera y Marco Polo, pudiendo acceder al proyecto desde dos frentes. El proyecto busca incentivar la lectura y a la vez reforzar la educación mediante actividades educativas en el Callao. Desde una propuesta de regeneración urbana en la zona conocida como Los Barracones, la Biblioteca Pública se propone acercar a la lectura a los responsables de cambiar el futuro: los niños y jóvenes. Un caso emblemático es el de los Parques Biblioteca en Medellin, Colombia, una ciudad con alto índice delincuencial hasta hace unos pocos años que mediante una propuesta de regeneración urbana ha mejorado la “calidad de vida” de los pobladores.; The Park Library Project is located in the Callao district. The area on which the project has been developed is around to 19,821.128 m2, where landscaping has been considered. It’s on the corner of Costanera and Marco Polo Avenues, having access from two fronts. The project promotes reading, cultural and educational activities in Callao. Entendiendo al símbolo como la representación perceptible de una idea, podemos hablar del valor simbólico de la arquitectura. El objetivo general de esta tesis es establecer un punto de referencia teórico para la configuración de museos con valor simbólico. Para lograrlo, se recoge y analiza información sobre el tema de lo simbólico en Arquitectura. Además, para confrontar la teoría con la realidad, se analizan los aspectos morfológicos, de experiencia arquitectónica y simbólico en cinco casos de museos de la Costa Norte del Perú.; This thesis aims to be a contribution to the theory of Architecture. Understanding the symbol as perceptible representation of an idea, we can speak of the symbolic value of architecture.
