Abstract

El presente trabajo de suficiencia profesional intenta plasmar toda la experiencia acumulada en las diferentes instituciones donde he laborado aplicando esta metodología en gestión de proyectos PMI. El motivo principal para escribir sobre este tema ha sido tratar de generalizar esta metodología sujeta a estándares internacionales en gestión de proyectos. Con el propósito de que sea útil para las siguientes generaciones, dado que la teoría es muy amplia y se renueva constantemente cada año con nuevos estándares internacionales, sin embargo, sus fundamentos permanecen en cada organización. El alcance del presente Trabajo de Suficiencia Profesional (TSP) es mostrar si ha sido rentable o no rentable, el establecimiento de una PMO en la organización, entendiendo como rentabilidad, no solo la parte financiera, sino también la parte no financiera, como la calidad de la gestión en obtener la satisfacción del cliente y/o mejorar el bienestar del ciudadano. La inspiración para realizar este trabajo de suficiencia profesional han sido los amplios años de aplicación de esta metodología del PMI (Project Management Institute) en el establecimiento de una oficina de gestión de Proyectos, o más comúnmente conocida como PMO (Project Management Office).

The present work of professional sufficiency tries to capture all the experience accumulated in the different institutions where I have worked applying this methodology in PMI project management. The main reason for writing on this topic has been to try to generalize this methodology subject to international standards in project management. With the purpose of being useful for the following generations, since the theory is very broad and is constantly renewed every year with new international standards, however, its foundations remain in each organization. The scope of this Professional Sufficiency Work (TSP) is to show if it has been profitable or not, the establishment of a PMO in the organization, understanding as profitability, not only the financial part, but also the non-financial part, such as the quality of management to obtain customer satisfaction and/or improve the well- being of the citizen. The inspiration to carry out this work of professional sufficiency has been the extensive years of application of this PMI (Project Management Institute) methodology in the establishment of a Project Management Office, or more commonly known as PMO (Project Management Office).
