Estudio de riesgo de incendio en una empresa del rubro de alimentos balanceados

Abstract

El presente estudio se realizó con el objetivo de analizar el riesgo de incendio de las áreas involucradas y clasificar los escenarios críticos que puedan afectar los activos, continuidad del negocio y recursos humanos en una industria que fabrica alimentos balanceados para animales. El método usado para la identificación y la clasificación del riesgo en las distintas áreas fue en base a la normativa aplicable para industrias, el D.S 42-F, el cual será aplicado para toda la planta (alto, moderado, bajo), sin embargo, donde se requiera la instalación de rociadores, de acuerdo a la presente evaluación, se determinará la clasificación del riesgo de acuerdo con la NFPA (Ligero, Ordinario 1 y 2, Riesgo Extra y 2). Cabe precisar algunas conclusiones post estudios, los techos empleados en las naves de almacenamiento cuentan con un grado de inclinación que excede el máximo permitido para la instalación de rociadores o son del tipo parabólico, lo que inhabilita la instalación de sistema de rociadores. La planta no cuenta con un sistema de alarma de incendio centralizado, de acuerdo con la NFPA 72. El sistema de agua contra incendio no se encuentra interconectado al sistema de detección de alarma según el art 56 del RNE A.130.

The present study was carried out with the objective of analyzing the fire risk of the áreas involved and classifying the critical scenarios that may affect assets, business continuity and human resources in an industry that manufactures balanced animal feed. The plant does not have a centralized fire alarm system, in accordance with NFPA 72. The fire water system is not interconnected to the alarm detection system according to art 56 of the RNE A.130.
