Sobre el teorema de Cohn para el cálculo de la primera homología SL2 vía sucesiones espectrales

Abstract

Paul M. Cohn en su estudio de la estructura del grupo general lineal GL2 de un anillo unitario, obtuvo una fórmula para la primera homología del subgrupo SL2. En esta tesis se mostrará otra prueba de este resultado para una clase particular de anillos (conmutativos) que el propio Cohn llamó anillos GE2 universales. Para lo cual se usarán las sucesiones espectrales como herramienta principal.

Paul M. Cohn, in his study of the structure of the general linear group GL2 for a ring with unit, found a formula for the calculation of the first homology of the subgroup SL2. In this thesis we will show another proof of this result for a particular class of (commutative) rings which Cohn called universal GE2-rings. For this purpose, spectral sequences will be used as a principal tool.
