Gestión de proyectos basado en el PMBOK para reducir costos y tiempo en la ejecución de proyectos electromecánicos en una unidad minera

Abstract

Esta tesis propone la estandarización de gestión de proyectos basado en el PMBOK con el objetivo de reducir costos y tiempo de ejecución de los proyectos electromecánicos de una unidad minera. La investigación es de tipo aplicada, con un enfoque cuantitativo, y se centra en el análisis del estado actual de los proyectos electromecánicos de una unidad minera, así como en la evaluación de las variables que influyen en su tiempo y costo. A través de una metodología descriptiva y correlacional, se identificaron las fallas de los proyectos y se concluyó que la estandarización de gestión de proyectos basado en el PMBOK es la mejor estrategia para la reducción de costos y tiempos. La implementación de estas estrategias ha permitido aumentar la eficiencia de los proyectos de una unidad minera, reducir los costos operativos y tiempos. Los resultados validan la efectividad de la solución propuesta, reduciendo significativamente los costos operativos y tiempos.

This thesis proposes the standardization of project management based on the PMBOK with the objective of reducing costs and execution time of the electromechanical projects of a mining unit. The research is of an applied type, with a quantitative approach, and focuses on the analysis of the current state of the electromechanical projects of a mining unit, as well as the evaluation of the variables that influence their time and cost. Through a descriptive and correlational methodology, project failures were identified, and it was concluded that standardization of project management based on the PMBOK is the best strategy for reducing costs and times. The implementation of these strategies has made it possible to increase the efficiency of a mining unit's projects, reducing operating costs and times. The results validate the effectiveness of the proposed solution, significantly reducing operating costs and times.
