Teatro en Miraflores

Abstract

En la década de 1940, a través de la iniciativa de la familia Marsano, se constituyó un conjunto de edificaciones representativas para su época en el espacio que se ha denominado 'el entorno del parque Miranda', particularmente, el teatro Marsano, que se posicionó como un importante edificio en el distrito. No obstante, diversas circunstancias han hecho que tales edificaciones vayan perdiendo presencia en este espacio. Actualmente, este espacio se presenta con signos de un desarrollo estancado, por lo que se percibe que, como barrio, ha ido perdiendo identidad como lugar. El presente proyecto de tesis ha propuesto un edificio de teatro con el que se busca la revalorización de este espacio urbano que ha sido, a nivel histórico, de gran importancia en la conformación del distrito de Miraflores. En este sentido, el teatro se ha presentado como un elemento que aporta a su entorno características que convierten a este espacio en lugar. El diseño metodológico fue de tipo descriptivo no experimental, en el que se correlacionaron los conceptos de "Aporte del teatro en su entorno", analizado desde los aspectos formal, funcional, económico, social, cultural y ambiental, y "Configuración del espacio como lugar" analizado según la teoría de "Apropiación del espacio" (Pol Urrútia & Vidal Moranta, 2005). Se ha empleado herramientas informáticas, fichas documentales para el análisis de información teórica referida al comportamiento de las variables, fichas de análisis de casos donde se estudiaron casos similares al proyecto planteado, una encuesta para recolectar información más detallada y argumentos que presentan los habitantes del área de estudio. A partir de ello, se han obtenido lineamientos técnicos y teóricos para el diseño del proyecto. Los resultados indicaron que existe una alta producción de apropiación del espacio en los residentes del entorno del parque Miranda, lo que se traduce en una alta presencia de identidad de lugar en este barrio. También se identificó una correlación positiva y significativa entre las variables, por lo que se concluyó que la implementación de un teatro contribuirá al entorno del parque Miranda a configurarse como lugar.

In the 1940s, through the initiative of the Marsano family, a group of representative buildings far their time was built in the area known as the 'environment of Miranda Park', particularly the Marsano Theater, which became an important building in the district. However, various circumstances have caused these buildings to lose their presence in this space. Currently, this space shows signs of stagnant development, so it is perceived that, as a neighborhood, it has been losing its identity as a place. This thesis project has proposed a theater building that seeks the revaluation of this urban space that has been, historically, of great importance in the shaping of the Miraflores District. In this sense, the theater has been presented as an element that brings to its surroundings characteristics that make this space a place. The methodological design was descriptive and non-experimental, correlating the concepts of "Contribution of the theater to its environment", analyzed from the formal, functional, economic, social, cultural and environmental aspects, and "Configuration of space as a place" analyzed according to the theory of "Appropriation of space" (Poi Urrútia & Vidal Moranta, 2005). lnformatics tools have been used, documentary files far the analysis of theoretical information referred to the behavior of the variables, case analysis files where cases similar to the proposed project were studied, a survey to collect more detailed information and arguments presented by the inhabitants of the study area. From this, technical and theoretical guidelines were obtained far the design of the project. The results indicated that there is a high production of appropriation of space in the residents of the environment of Miranda Park, which results in a high presence of place identity in this neighborhood. A positive and significant correlation between the variables was also identified, so it was concluded that the implementation of a theater will contribute to the environment of Miranda Park to be configured as a place.
